Terms of Use

FileFruit is operated by Jacob Franco in North Carolina, United States. Contact support@filefruit.com. FileFruit is a general-audience service, is not directed to children under 13, and does not provide user accounts. Effective date: 2026-07-21.

FileFruit provides tools for ordinary file conversion, compression, editing, inspection, and archive workflows. You are responsible for having the right to process the files you choose.

Browser processing depends on device, memory, codec, and browser capabilities. Secure fallback depends on configured capacity, limits, and abuse controls.

FileFruit does not promise exact target sizes, perfect quality, lossless conversion, or support for formats not shown by the selected tool.

Use FileFruit only for lawful purposes and only with files you have the right to process. Do not use it for unlawful, infringing, malicious, abusive, security-disrupting, or privacy-invasive activity. You remain responsible for source files, intellectual-property rights, permissions, and the results you create.

Features, limits, and availability may change or be refused for abusive use. Browser, memory, format, and codec support vary, and you must verify outputs before relying on them. The service and outputs are provided without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, FileFruit and Jacob Franco are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages, and any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service, which is zero for the launch service. North Carolina law governs without overriding non-waivable consumer rights. Terms changes will be posted with a revised effective date.
